ART 2805 Photography I (4)
This course focuses on basic black and white photography. Cameras, lenses, films, papers, chemical processes, printing and enlarging are considered in relation to pictorial goals. Specific equipment
requirements apply: The purchase of black & white film, photographic paper, and the student must have use of a 35mm manual camera. Satisfies Fine Arts General Education requirement or the Fine Arts option
for the B.A. degree. Offered every semester.
ART 3805 Photography II (Intermediate) (2)
This course emphasizes further development of skills and techniques introduced in ART2805. Specific equipment requirements apply: The purchase of black & white film photographic paper, and the student
must have use of a 35mm manual camera. Prerequisite: ART 2805 with a grade of C- or better. Satisfies the Fine Arts option for the B.A. degree. Offered every semester.
ART 4805 Photography III (Advanced) (2)
This advance course offers an exploration of more complex forms of art photography, including digital technology, with an emphasis on the printing of high quality photographic images. Specific equipment requirements apply: The purchase of black & white film photographic paper, and the student must have use of a 35mm manual camera. Prerequisite: ART 3805 with a grade of C- or better. Satisfies the Fine Arts option for the B.A. degree. Offered every semester.
