Learning

to Create involves all our

mind and spirit.

We invite eager young artists to develop rounded personalities with pointed talent. All our art majors practice a wide range of media. The Bachelor's Degree in Arts or Science can lead to a life of making art or teaching one's love of it (we offer K-12 certification in our highly-rated education program). Our smaller size lets us help students craft their own goals in studio concentrations and career plans.

Art scholarships are offered to qualified students after a portfolio review. Contact Julie Schatz in Admissions to schedule an appointment; or call/email the Cowan Building Office Assistant, Stephanie Jonas at sjonas@gborocollege.edu (phone: 336/272-7102x323)
As a College of the Methodist Church, Greensboro College continues a 160 year-old liberal arts tradition set in a thriving downtown of a mid-sized city among the rolling hills and green pastures of the central Piedmont area of North Carolina. Since our founding, we have built upon strong ethical Judeo-Christian values and a balanced course of studies.
