Design Today takes on new meanings, from cyberspace to CDs, DVDs and games, to the still vibrant worlds of print and television. The emphasis at GC is on integrating new technologies with our traditional liberal arts foundation. We promote a solid core of sound 2-D and 3-D design courses
The 2-D courses range from hands-on experience of many kinds of media and compositional strategies to an entry-level familarity with the Macintosh Adobe package. Additionally, many classes throghout the department incorporate video and increasingly digital technologies. Students have made performance videos, worked on web design, and continue to further explore new software. Our staff and faculty updates training in many applications, such as the professional workshop "Mastering Photoshop"
